BB International is modeled on the developmental, social and constructivist approaches inspired by the work of three of the most influential child psychologists in history: Jean Piaget, Lev Vygotsky and Jerome Bruner. At BBI, we are committed to the development of the whole child, one who will have a strong sense of self confidence in his/her ability to meet new experiences and have a high level of cross-cultural competence. In our effort to foster creativity and innovation, our custom designed DOC curriculum incorporates a variety of cultural experiences in conjunction with the typical academic disciplines. These areas include visual art, music appreciation, cooking and gardening, all enjoyed in developmentally appropriate environments in which the children gain the confidence to question, explore and learn. This curricular framework offers an education that builds the foundations for students to think across a broad spectrum of topics, to identify, and even forge, new connections between the disciplines.
