Description

Preschool program that offers a gentle transition for toddlers into a school setting. A parent/child class is offered as the first step to encourage trust and routine for children. Gradually over months, the program dismisses parents to a parent education class. Children engage in independent learning experiences as well as group activities. Emergent curriculum is used to encourage students to ask questions and make their own observations. An outside garden classroom is used to encourage students to connect with the natural world and learn science concepts.
