All shelves, chairs, and tables are child-sized so children are able to do things independently and tidying up after work becomes a daily routine and a responsibility. Mixed-age grouping builds a sense of community and belonging within school wherein children are given the opportunity to grow from being the youngest in the class into leaders and mentors for younger friends as students progress through each class level.
